It is recommended by the manufactures on most water- cooled chillers that the integrity of the tubes in the condenser and the evaporator be checked for deterioration. It is recommended that these test be done a minimum of every three years on the condenser and every five years on the evaporator. As chillers and their systems get older more frequent test may be necessary.
