Carolina Chillers was the preferred maintenance provider at a facility near Columbia, SC. Due to aging R-22 HVAC units the customer asked Carolina Chillers about replacing all 42 units and downtime was a critical component of the project. The other challenge was a crane large enough to handle the load and length necessary to replace each unit. Carolina Chillers ended up using a helicopter and had each unit set with approximately 5 minutes per unit. We then proceeded to get each unit up and running through the weekend in order to get the facility operational. The customer was extremely pleased with the timeframe and happy with the Carolina Chillers team.
